Match report Sadly Mildenhalls 2nd x1 looked like a side that had nothing to play for as they subsided to a home defeat against Dunmow. Batting first they compiled runs at around 3 runs per over for 40 overs before some final overs hitting from Jack Beaumont (25) and Jamie Allen (17) lifted the score to 170 for 9. Lily Reynolds top scored with 46 and Mark Thurston was not out 16.
Dunmow opener J Down (93*) anchored his side’s innings as Mildenhall claimed 6 wickets during the run chase. Adam Trett took 3 for 43,but it was not enough as the visitors claimed a 4-wicket victory.
