MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB 4th XI - Sat v Long Melford 2nd X1 on Sat 21 Jul 2012 at 1.00 p.m.
MILDENHALL CRICKET CLUB Lost Mildenhall lost by 41 runs

Match report Thanks to fantastic work from the groundstaff Mildenhall 4s got the chance to play their first game in nearly a month as they hosted Long Melford.
On a good batting track Melford scored 215-3 from their 45 overs, spinners Jack Bowman and Tom Heywood the only wicket takers.

A 75 run partnership between Mark Thurston (58) and 14 year old Ashley Clark (31) set Mildenhall up well before an unfortunate run out resulted in a flurry of wickets. Despite a brisk 34 from Jack Bowman the 4s were bowled out in the final over for 174 to fall 41 runs short. I Nemwan finished with 5-30 for the visitors.
