Match report Mildenhall 1st X1 travelled to third place Wivenhoe and had a disastrous start being 14 for 3.However captain Ben Shepperson led from the front making 93 before being out lbw to Matt Durrell. He had good support from lower order batsmen Jack Beaumont (37) and Tom Allen (31). Mildenhall recovered to make a respectable 217 all out. Wivenhoe were never able to get any momentum to their innings as Allen and Beaumont picked up early wickets and with Kobus Scholtz and Jack Bowman also helping to apply the brakes Wivenhoe finished in the gloom on 162 for 8. Beaumont took 3 for 40. Allen 2 for 8 with Scholtz taking 2 for 58. Mildenhall took 19 points from the match but were unable to improve their table position.
