Brian Vale
20 Jul 2012
It is with sadness I have learnt today that after a long illness, Brian Vale has died. Brian was a Mildenhall Cricket Club Vice President for over twenty years. He had during his playing days in the sixties been the instigator of fund raising through Bingo evenings. This culminated in a regular Friday evening Bingo session at the Comet Cinema in Mildenhall attended by close on 400 regulars and it enabled the club to secure enough funds to purchase our ground at Wamil Way. Whilst in good health Brian was a keen follower of the club and regularly attended the Annual General Meeting. He was also a perennial match sponsor.
Our thoughts are with his wife Wendy and all the family at this sad time
