Preparation for the 2014 season starts now!
The new Cricket & Coaching Committee has a remit to provide every member of MCC with the opportunity to improve their cricket.
This starts with off season fitness training courtesy of Ollie Rix - Middlesex CCC Strength & Conditioning Coach – who will be running a series of “Bootcamps” aimed at improving our base fitness.
Initially there will be ten sessions held on Saturday mornings at MCC come rain, sunhine or snow; after Christmas the sessions will turn to specific cricket fitness leading into the new season.
The sessions are open to all MCC members – Ladies, 1stXI squad, 4th XI Captain (!) spectators, parents and those juniors looking to play senior cricket in 2014.
Winning in sport does not happen by accident; we must all train hard to be the best that we can – if we all improve by 5% then we will be making big strides towards a successful 2014 season.
